Network mapping seems to be a bit of a hot topic at the moment. There was an interesting discussion recently on LinkedIn about Prospect Visual, which led to a number of other suggestions being made.

I mentioned a couple of things which were mentioned at the recent Researchers in Fundraising (RiF) conference:

The LinkedIn discussion included mind mapping software like Mind Maple (www.mindmaple.com), “a very simple mapping tool that lets you build your own network from scratch”.

Someone suggested (via LinkedIn) looking at Nodexecel – an Excel add-on that allows you to visualise spreadsheet data in a mind-map or graph format.

RiF is thinking of getting a group together to discuss this issue and explore options for the UK market. Contact Sacha Newman if you are interested in getting involved.
