Ruby Wax to host IoF National Awards 2014

Comedian and presenter Ruby Wax will be hosting the Institute of Fundraising National Awards next month in London. A long-term supporter of Comic Relief and Sport Relief, Wax will present in front of over 800 attendees as the 21 fundraising award winners are announced.
Ms. Wax said:

“The National Awards is a wonderful event and I am thrilled to be asked to help present the awards and reward those who have done so much to raise money for such worthwhile causes this year.”

Wax, who recently gained a Master’s in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from Oxford University, campaigns for greater mental health awareness and destigmatization.
The National Awards are now in their 22nd year. They take place on the evening of the first day of the Institute’s National Convention, the largest event for fundraisers in Europe. At this year’s event the Institute will launch its year-long campaign Proud to be a Fundraiser.
