The Guide to Grants for Individuals in Need 24/25 - hold an umbrella over someone's head

You can’t plant a tree in space

You can’t plant a tree in space is an inspiring new practical guide to successful leadership. The authors Neil Hope and Dominic Will are two unconventional leaders who have achieved great commercial success despite a turbulent economic climate.

They now run one of the world’s most successful fundraising companies.

The model, introduced here for the first time, puts mindful human beings at the heart of organisations. It asks individuals to understand their own needs and motivations as well as those of their teams, and so become true leaders.

Based on Neil Hope’s study and practice of therapy with groups and individuals, his 22 years teaching meditation, and both his and Dominic Will’s management of tens of thousands of people over more than a decade, You can’t plant a tree in space presents a framework for both new and experienced leaders to influence and change the dynamic in any group and unify their organisation.

Discover the blueprint that enabled the authors to raise £400m for leading charities and recruit 1 million donors in just over a decade.
