Report on Irish fundraising to be launched

Fundraising consultancy 2into3 will next week launch its fourth annual report on fundraising performance in Ireland.
The report has examined the accounts of over 1,000 Irish not-for-profits in order to establish the total fundraised income from philanthropic sources in 2012, the fundraising performance of the sector, the fundraising mix in 2012 compared to 2011 and the cost of fundraising by method.
Three events will be held to launch the report in the following venues:
1) Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin; Tuesday 30th September, 7.15 – 9.30am
2) St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church, Galway; Wednesday 1st October, 3.00-5.00pm
3) St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral, Cork; Thursday 2nd October, 9.30-11.30am
At the 2into3 report launch in Dublin there will be a number of speakers on issues related to fundraising and the voluntary sector. Panellists will include Úna Ní Dhubhghaill, Chief Executive Charities Regulatory Authority, Lisa-Nicole Dunne, Director of Fundraising Focus Ireland, David Kane, Senior Research Officer NCVO UK Civil Society Almanac and Martin O’Sullivan, Director of Finance Arts Council for Ireland.
