Some charities are now saying a public thank you to their best volunteer fundraisers, donors or corporate supporters with award ceremonies.
Here are some we spotted recently.

1. Stroke Association

Each year the Stroke Association presents awards to several individuals and organisations that achieve remarkable fundraising results as part of their Life After Stroke Awards.

The Stroke Association has announced Royal Mail as the winner of its Corporate Supporter award. The company aims to raise £2 million for the charity over two years as part of its Charity of the Year partnership.
Since the launch of the partnership in September 2014, Royal Mail has hosted over 100 Know Your Blood Pressure events for staff across the country, educating them on stroke risk and prevention. It even created a bespoke postmark, which has the potential to reach 29.5 million homes a day, highlighting the work of the Stroke Association.
