Global NGO online technology survey gets underway

Howard Lake | 1 September 2015 | News

Nonprofit Tech for Good, the US blog about nonprofits’ use of social and digital media, is undertaking its first Global NGO Online Technology Survey. It is inviting charity staff around the world to take part.
The survey is looking at how nonprofits, charities, and NGOs worldwide use online technology. This covers raising money online, using website and email communications, and use social media.
Heather Mansfield, Founder of Nonprofit Tech for Good, said that the data gathered will be used to compile a report about regional differences in how organisations make use of digital tools. She admitted that it was “a huge undertaking”. She hopes to run the survey annually.
You can take the Global NGO Online Technology Survey now, and Mansfield says that it takes just three minutes. For those in the UK, when asked for your country name, search for ‘GB’ rather than ‘United Kingdom’.
