Research into major gift fundraising in Europe underway

Howard Lake | 11 December 2015 | News

How do charities and non-profits in Europe approach major gift fundraising? The Centre for Sustainable Philanthropy at Plymouth University is carrying out a survey to find out.
The research, conducted by the Centre’s Director Professor Adrian Sargeant aims to gather data about how major gifts are defined and how significant they might be among other sources of philanthropic income. It is also designed to help identify some of the keys to successful major gift fundraising.
The survey is being supported by prospect research specialists Factary. The results will be shared in Summer 2016 in an open-access, free report.
The major gift fundraising survey should take around 15 minutes to complete.
The questionnaire does not ask for your name or any other information that might identify you. Any information provided will be held anonymously “making it impossible to trace responses back to specific individuals or organizations”.
