Artists Gilbert and George are raising funds for Aids charity Crusaid by donating a quarter of the proceeds of their £11.99 screensaver.

A tad expensive for something that's normally given away on CD magazine cover-mounts, you might think. But G&G offer more: "we want to spill our blood, our brains and our seed for art", they say. OK then, since it's for charity.

The Philanthropreneur newsletter is a new magazine which aims to publish examples of successful enterprise by nonprofits - "ways to make money and to save money."

Under its banner "sharing ideas you can take to the bank", the 8-page monthly newsletter will carry profiles of successful philanthropreneurs, guest columns, legal suggestions and "lots of reality-tested practical advice".
