BT Friends and Family to help three charities

For the third year running British Telecom is encouraging its customers to donate their Friends and Family scheme discounts to charity during December.

New head of trustees for Oxfam GB



Oxfam has appointed a new Chair of Trustees, Rosemary Thorp, who will take over from Joel Joffe in 2002. Ms Thorp, an Oxfam GB trustee since 1989, is an author on Latin American development issue.

Six Dutch students have compared fundraising in the UK and the Netherlands for their graduation assignment.

Six Leisure Management students at the Netherlands Institute for Tourism and Transport Studies in Breda, Holland, have completed a research project comparing fundraising in the UK and in Holland.
