World Vision doubles online giving in two years

World Vision's Division Director Mark Grote says that $1.75 million was donated online in 2001.

In an interview with Internet-fundraising.com, Grote describes World Vision's success in online fundraising. Nevertheless, the $1,758,000 raised online in 2001 was still only 1% of the
total amount raised by the non-profit that year.

WaterAid's site reviewed in New Media Age

New Media Age magazine looks at WaterAid's site in its Site Inspection back-page feature.

Reviewer Dominic Dudley is impressed with the revamped version of WaterAid's site. He gives it 80/100, with a high 21/25 for monetisation, and an even higher 22/25 for usability.

Retailer Spar has pledged to raise £1 million in the third consecutive year of its partnership with the cancer charity.

To date SPAR has raised £670,000 for the charity from fundraising activities and corporate donations.
