Comic Relief launches viral competition for agencies

Comic Relief is running a competition for digital agencies to produce an online viral marketing campaign for the charity's upcoming Red Nose Day campaign. The shortlisted campaigns will be voted on online by Comic Relief supporters.

New books from DSC

The Directory of Social Change has announced a series of new publications to be published later this year. You can make pre-order them already.

New titles due out from the Directory of Social Change this year include "The Welsh Funding Guide 2003/2004" by Dave Casson. It will be available in Autumn 2003.

Fundratios finds sustainable growth in voluntary income

Fundratios 2001/2 report 'strong and sustainable growth' in levels of voluntary income, despite lower levels of corporate support.

Fundratios 2001/2, the benchmarking management tool for fundraising professionals reports that levels of overall voluntary income for 2001/02 increased by 10.8%, with a three-year trend of 29% growth.

£35.2 million Lottery scheme for transforming waste launched

The Royal Society for Nature Conservation (RSNC) and the New Opportunities Fund (NOF) are joining forces for a second multi-million pound funding initiative - the Community Recycling and Economic Development (CRED) scheme, created from £35.2 million of National Lottery money through the New Opportunities Fund's Transforming Waste Programme.
