CAF renames ethical fund

Charities Aid Foundation has changed the name of its two-year-old CAF Ethical Plus Fund to the CAF Socially Responsible Fund, to reflect more closely the scope and focus of its investments.

UK voluntary sector employs 2% of workforce

The UK voluntary sector employs 563,000 people, 2% of the national workforce, and contributes £5.4 billion to GDP, according to new research by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). This makes it larger than the post and telecommunications sector.
