Free membership of Flickr coming soon for UK charities

Thanks to a partnership with TechSoup, the technology resource site for nonprofit organisations, US and Canadian nonprofits can each apply for up to five of the 10,000 free membership accounts donated by online photo sharing site Flickr.com.

Good news - this offer, entitled 'Flickr for Good', will soon be extended to charities in the UK, Australia and Hong Kong.

The site can be used for sharing photos with supporters, and developing a network of like-minded supporters. Flickr members can use various tools including online discussion forums.
