Going, Going, Gone……

Have you been using eBay as one of your fundraising tools?

I always look forward to autumn once summer is out of the way.

The fresh winds, the drop in temperature, the changing scene in the hedgerows as leaves fall....

I meet or communicate with charities and voluntary organisations on a daily basis and there never seems to be a clear picture of how difficult or not it is to recruit volunteers.

Harsh reprimands all around as I realise it has been 6 months since I posted here!! bad boy!!

But I do have some justification....

...and already I've had to start on decorating projects!! Managed to get through the run up to Christmas without having to do any so mustn't grumble!!

But is decorating a sign of something else?

When I came in to this sector just over three months ago in a salaried capacity, working for Premier Contact, rather than as an ad hoc volunteer, I guess I had some preconceived ideas

What does the term ‘telephone fundraising’ say to you?

I guess from the professional fundraiser’s perspective I am new to the charity sector (I have been with telephone fundraisers Premier Contact for only 5 or 6 weeks!),
