Tick Prevention Week

An annual campaign to raise awareness regarding the dangers of tick bites and how to reduce the chance of contracting infections that ticks carry in the UK. This campaign is endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.

The campaign is held in early spring, when the weather gets warmer, people spend more time outdoors, and ticks (blood-sucking parasites) become more active.
