What is Fundraising ?

The Institute of Fundraising North West is delighted to introduce a one day taster course on "What is Fundraising?"

Who is it for?

- Anyone who is thinking about becoming a fundraiser (graduates, grannies etc)
- volunteer fundraisers
- anyone who works in the sector and comes in contact with fundraisers
- finance people, service delivery people
- trustees and management Cttee members
- anyone who is moving to the sector from another job

Not too heavy, just about what fundraising is
How to stay within the law
- all about kinds of fundraising
- skills of a fundraiser
- ethics and values in charities and in fundraising
- what the Institute can offer, regionally and nationally
- Training and development support
