The search for his successor is being handled by Charity Recruitment. A global role, based London
The IFRG is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing professional and ethical fundraising education throughout the world. We believe that the sharing of experience between nations is itself educational and seek to promote that internationalism in all our work. We are now looking for a new Chief Executive to build on the achievements of Per Stenbeck in fulfilling our mission.
The major event in our calendar is the International Fund Raising Workshop held annually in the Netherlands. In addition, the Worldwide Programme supports 10 regional workshops each year throughout the developing world. The IFRG also runs training courses and has produced The Worldwide Fundraiser's Handbook. There are five staff based in London. Annual turnover exceeds 500,000 UK pounds.
To take the IFRG forward, the new Chief Executive will be:
* a skilled fundraiser with broad experience of different techniques
* a seasoned senior manager with experience of working and living beyond one
single country/culture
* a presenter and speaker with very good English, other languages an
advantage
* an enthusiast for the cause, able to motivate staff and colleagues and
attract new funding
* able to be based in London and travel far and frequently
