Hi all!
I've recently begun my career in fundraising by working on a statewide political campaign in the US, but after the primary in May, am hoping to find work in the UK. I went to grad school in the UK, but unless I'm mistaken, am not aware of much political fundraising. I'm wondering however, if anyone knows of specific charities or NGO's that are willing to hire people who require work permits? I'm finding that most places do not, but am confident there are a few I can put my energy in to!
Thanks!

Political parties
Our political parties have fundraisers working for them - one possibility to check out.
Though its something of a political issue about how they raise funds, they are perhaps somewhat closer to the US model (with asking for money) than some other organisations.
On a local basis, not sure if there's enough need for a fundraiser, though national level do advertise from time to time.
Good luck.

Recruitment agencies
Declaration of interest: our Chair is CEO of Prospectus and our offices services are donated by that organisation. Pick them.
On a less promotional and more helpful note, I think you will find that most agencies/charities will be happy to consider someone with suitable experience who has a work permit. However, I'm sorry to say that it is extremely unlikely that anyone will sponsor you to obtain a permit - unfortunately you'll be on your own with actually getting one in the first place.
