Funding for educational coaching - where can I look for precedents?

Submitted by danielwalton on 1 May, 2008 - 10:33.

Hi, essentially my colleagues and I have been asked to research funding which has previously been granted within the UK of between £20,000 and £50,000 for coaching/mentoring/learning support within schools.

I don't know where to begin looking for such information, so any help would be gratefully received!

Research

Trustfunding.co.uk should be your starting point for anything like this - costs money to subscribe, but if the end result is a campaign to raise this sort of sum, well worth it.

Cheers

Google

Google as a search engine, mentoring charity uk typed in as search words gives a few responses.
Local council for voluntary service in your area might also know of some.

Not sure exactly what age groups or specific groups you are concentrating on so unsure if the results will be ideal.
But some should have an idea about other projects if their own doesn't know.

Hi, thanks. Is there any way

Hi, thanks. Is there any way of finding out the details of such charities?
Thank,
Dan

Charities?

A few charities have done or are doing mentoring and or learning support.
They can probably give some information. Possible they will have full details available.
