My dad wants to ride a bike for charity from Caernarfon (North Wales) to Seville. Neither of us has a clue how to go about organizing something like this. We gues that he would have to go through checkpoints of a sort to validate that he is actually making the ride. We also think that we could raise more money by having an advert for a bike shop/company etc on his shirt. Any adivice is more than welcome and will be greatly appreciated. Please bear in mind that we know nothing at all about this, except that it must be possible.
Thanking you kindly
Shaun.

Bike ride
HI Shaun,
I've just helped 23 riders do a trip from Biarritz to Barcelona. Check out their web site at http://www.biarritz2barcelona.com/
It takes a lot of planning but very worth while.

Long Ridings
Hi, Shaun
The first port of call should be the charity that will benefit from the ride - they should be able to help you keep on the right side of the various laws, and maximise the benefit from your dad's Herculean effort.
If they can't help, come back to the list and we'll see what we can do!
Cheers
Gerry
