Does anyone have any thoughts - anecdotal or statistical - on the merit of including a direct debit form within warm DM packs? I'm interested in whether commited giving ask packs work as well as if it's worth putting a DD form in our general, cash-ask packs.
Previous experience suggests to me that response is negligible, but that could be down to the targetting or the the pack itself.
Many thanks.

Hi Martin
Another option may be to consider a telephone follow up campaign - we find this to be particularly successful - the voice to voice interaction adds a personal touch and the DD is signed up whilst on the phone.
If you were unsure of this approach then we'd always be happy to run a small pilot for you free of charge to assess the viability.
Do drop me an email or give me a call if I can be of any assistance.

Hi Martin,
An option to consider rather than putting a DDI in the pack, is a link to your online Paperless Direct Debit sign-up page enabling your supporters to sign-up and receive an acknowledgment immediately.
