Hi everyone,
I'm a graduate studying for a second degree in veterinary science, and as such I am liable for full fees of £17,500 per year, with which there is no help available via the student loans company.
I'm after writing a letter asking for sponsorship from local or relevant companies who may be of assistance, and have no idea how to start.
Can anyone help me with this matter?

Advice on funding for individuals
Martin's advice re the book is good.
This forum isn't the place to look for advice on funding for an individual: it's for professional fundraisers who raise funds for organisations, mainly charities and not-for-profit organisations. We explain this and give a few tips on seeking funding for individuals at

Book
Hi Kathari.
There is a book available from the directory of social change (DSC) on
http://www.dsc.org.uk/Publications/Fundraisingsources/@2647
Some libraries will have it.
Usually in reference area from my experience, or else you'd never get a chance to see it.
As I recall its mainly for up to 1st degree people but its guidance will likely be useful for you too.
Turn your situation around - whats in it for these companies you are writing to? How will they see a benefit or a return?
Have you asked zoos or vets for sponsorship?
