Contact forms

I'm in the middle of testing our new website. I have a vague memory that not having CAPTCHA on email comment forms and not having a method of confirming email addresses on a newsletter signup form can lead to trouble with spambots.

Any advice?

Also - if it breaks any guielines (like WCAG 1.0) it would be handy, as I could force the suppliers to do the work for free.

What do you all reckon?
