Funding for Social Enterprise

Does anyone know of current funding available to social enterprises?

We've already approached the traditional parties such as CAF (Venturesome), Triodos and Charity Bank but they have all told us to come back when the enterprise has been running for at least a year.

Of course, grant funding would be preferable but philanthropic investment is also a possibility, along with social enterprise loans.
