Starting a Charitable Fund

Hi,

I help run a community website for our town and we are looking at setting up a charitable fund to help local community projects.

I have spoken to a number of local groups with very worthy causes that are having a hard time raising funds at the moment. We have lots of members on the site that are willing to donate to this fund but I am keen to make sure the right structure is in place and it is fully accountable.

Where is the best place to look for help with this. We would be looking at a small fund of about 10k per annum to start.
