Hi everyone,
I wonder if anybody has got experience with using flat packed card board collection boxes to raise funds in primary schools.
We are thinking about giving children a box of their own to decorate and take home to collect spare change etc. We have a very strict budget though and I am lookig for some feedback from people who have used this, or decided against it.
Any information about how well it was received and picked up on, the return on investment and printer issues would be really helpful!
With best wishes,
Rachel
Rotary club used to..
do a shoebox scheme, probably still do, for sending stuff out to Eastern Europe. Kids had to put non-perishable goods in incl toiletries etc.
Each box was identified as to age group and sex.
Originally they used to give the boxes out and ask for £1 to be taped to them on their return to help with costs. However, too many either did not come back or did but without the £1.
So the last time my kids got involved you had to pay the £1 up front to get the box.
Hope this helps?

Many primary schools now
Many primary schools now take part in the Love In a Box scheme at Xmas every year.
You could do worse than speak to them about their operation.
