How do we get the younger generation to volunteer for a charity of thier choice?

I'm a student writer doing a feature article on how to get younger members of the public to do some volunteer work for a charity of thier choice.

I worked for St Basil's, a homeless charity which was truly inspiring but i noticed there wernt many younger indviduals taking part.

So how can these registered charitys attract more younger individuals to volunteer?
