Ambassadors Programme (possibly Celebrity / Business)

Hello

I represent a small cricket charity in Walington in Surrey and I am also posting my first note on the Forum.

Fundraising is not my background and indeed I am new to it. We are looking to try and set up an Ambassdors programme with either celebrities or business related individuals. But we have a few questions and wondered of someone could help?

what would you (the charity) expect from someone?; what would they expect from a connection / partnership with the charity?, Are they signed up officially or verbally? Are they signed for a period of time or indefinitely? Do you wait for people to approach you?

I apologise if the questions seem basic but we are looking to get a good vision of what is fully involved.

Many thanks and I really appreciate any advice and your time for reading this note.

Kindest Regards
Alasdair Ramsay
