We are setting up a charity in the UK but we will be supporting projects in development countries. We need to create a financial plan that will cover 1. Our start up costs (core costs, including salary). Would it be right to fundraise for these initial costs? Donors might not be happy to support this? 2. A plan that will cover the next 3 years. How can we develop a financial plan that will include core costs but will make sure that this will only be a small percentage from each fundraising event/donation?
It would be great to get some advise on the subject!
We are on the look out for a trustee that can support us with the financial and business aspects of the charity. We would be interested to hear from people!
