Film Tie-ins

Has anyone been successful at using a film tie-in to fundraise?

There's a film coming out in the autumn that links very closely with our cause and we are currently thinking of ways we could link up to both raise awareness and fundraise.

I would be interested to hear from any fundraisers who have been involved in this kind of thing - your recommendations, what worked, what didn't, the kind of events you used and how you managed relationships with the key players.

This would be a new thing for us but seems like too good an opportunity to pass by.
