I am a 2nd year Digital Media BA student. We've just been given a brief outline of our project for our module "Website design and development", and I have to build either a small website or a prototype for a large website.
We have to find a real client for this, and I thought it would be nice to do one for a charity (I'm currently designing one for another charity actually - I'll post it here once it's done).
I'm not going to make a decision right away - I'm going to leave it open for people to make sugestions to me until the end of October. I'll decide who to go with in November, start work on it in December, and the deadline for delivery is the end of May.
Here's an example of my work www.burstradio.co.uk
This is totally for free! No catch, honest! I will benefit by getting the experience, and being able to add a link to it from my online portfolio.
Incidentally I can't guarentee anything, but I guess sone of my fellow students might also be interested in doing a site for a charity - if I get a few serious requests I'll certainly ask them anyway.
If you're interested / have questions please feel free to post here or contact me, whichever you prefer.
Thanks :)
