    Does anyone know whether its possible to apply for a salary for a fundraising and events co-ordinator through children in need…i.e. are there they any restrictions on what type of positions you can apply to funding for

    I have seen the form and the guidelines and they have a special page for salaries. There is no mention of any restrictions on the kind of post you can apply (see page 3 of the guidelines).

    Sorry – no chance for a fundraising post! If you read the details carefully, they will give salaries for direct work with children, but not for admin, publicity, fundraising etc.

    These posts should be built in to the organisation’s business plan elsewhere.
