Hold back on taking credit card donations?

Charities are being advised to hold back from accepting credit card donations online.

Jeremy Swinfen Green of Multimedia Dimensions Ltd discusses credit card security on the Internet in this month's Charity magazine. Unfortunately, he advises that "charities thinking of adding a credit card donations facility to their Internet sites might do well to wait. Things may look clearer in six months." Those charities that ignore this approach will no doubt be the ones to succeed in online fundraising.
