England football manager Sven Goran Eriksson and partner Nancy Dell'Olio have launched Truce International to promote world peace.
The new charity hopes that football can be used to promote peace around the world. It has been launched to coincide with the UN's International Day Of Peace on 21 September. Sven said that the charity's aim was to "try to achieve at least one day every year where people around the world play football instead of fighting and killing each other."
