Centennial Software donates software to Mercy Ships

Submitted by howardlake on 7 February, 2008 - 10:35.

IT audit and network management solutions developer Centennial Software has donated thousands of pounds worth of computer software and technical support.

The software, Centennial Discovery and Centennial License Manager, will enable Mercy Ships to have "complete visibility of their IT network". By knowing exactly how many computers and software licenses are in use, the charity will be better equipped to monitor their compliance with license regulations.

The charity's vessel 'The Africa Mercy' is staffed entirely by volunteers and relies upon donations for every piece of equipment onboard, from computers and office equipment to surgical and diagnostic equipment.

Centennial Software specialises in developing business solutions to help organisations meet IT governance goals.
