Wealth conference raises £147,050 for Make-A-Wish Foundation UK®

The second annual Wealth Club™ 2008 Millionaires Gala Dinner and Conference, held at the beginning of this month by wealth creation education company Whitney UK Ltd, raised £147,050 for Make-A-Wish Foundation UK.

The event was attended by over 300 Wealth Club members, current and former students, trainers, and mentors.

Items auctioned included a day driving armored vehicles at Bovington, a tax health check, a day filming Homes Under the Hammer, and tickets to a land development course.

Karen England, director of fundraising, Make-A-Wish Foundation UK, said: "Over the past two years, [Whitney UK Ltd] have raised more than £212,000, which is a huge amount and an invaluable contribution to our target of granting a Make-A-Wish to every one of the 20,000 children living with a life-threatening illness in the UK."
