Mike Dixon, the former Chief Executive of HSBC Insurance Brokers, will be the new Finance Director at the Charities Aid Foundation. Starting on 1 March, he will report to the charity's Chief Executive, John Low.
Low said: "Mike brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in finance, insurance and FSA-regulated organisations. He has a proven track record of strong financial management, innovation and business growth, which will help us to generate more funds for charities aiding them to achieve even more."
Dixon, who in 2006 became a trustee of drug and alcohol treatment charity Addaction, said: "It has been a long held ambition of mine to move into the charitable sector."
