Institute of Fundraising seeks new trustees

The Institute of Fundraising is encouraging members to consider nominating themselves to become a trustee of the Institute.

The Institute's Chief Executive Lindsay Boswell wrote to members today: "if you have strong and clear ideas about how your profession should be developed, why not put yourself forward to become a Trustee of the Institute of Fundraising?"

Four vacancies have been created by Trustees who are completing their full term of office or are up for re-election. These are open to any members from Northern Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.

There are separate and additional elections taking place in Scotland and Wales this year. For members from Scotland there is a vacancy specifically for a trustee elected by the Scottish membership. For members from Wales there is a vacancy specifically for a trustee elected by the Welsh membership.

Any member from England or Northern Ireland who wishes to receive the Scotland or Wales nomination papers should contact Boswell's PA at deborah@institute-of-fundraising.org.uk.

The closing date for nominations is midday on 27 May 2008.
