Easyfundraising wins Best Performing Charity Website award

Charity shopping website easyfundraising.org.uk has won the title of Best Performing Charity Website in the 2007 Currys Awards, held annually to recognise the achievements of sites operating within Currys online affiliate marketing network.

Easyfundraising was chosen as the winner due to its success in driving sales in the Christmas 2007 trading period, with an increase of over 80% month on month.

Supporters can shop with over 500 popular retailers on easyfundraising.org.uk and generate a free donation for their chosen cause each time they buy via one of the links on the site.

Retailers on the site include Currys, PC World, Dixons, M&S, Amazon, NEXT, Boots, eBay, Dell, Woolworths, Direct Line, Screwfix, Interflora, Staples, and Expedia.

So far more than £350,000 has been generated for UK good causes by users of easyfundraising since the site's launch in 2006, including £80,000 since January 2008 alone.
