A one-stop online site to log people's change of address has clocked up its 50,000th charity supporter.

www.iammoving.com features more than 1,500 different organisations such as banks, local authorities, utility companies, leisure clubs and government departments. People moving house can log on and tell a full range of organisations their new address details on the free-to-use service.

The company has found that charities are one of the favoured categories people use the site for. Charities using the site include Cancer Research UK, NCPCC, Help the Aged and British Red Cross, as well as many small local charities.
