Institute's volunteer fundraising survey closes this week

The Institute of Fundraising's online survey about volunteer fundraising closes at the end of this week.

The survey will help inform the Institute's response to the current government consultation on volunteering that is being led by the Department of Health. The Institute is keen to provide evidence that helps demonstrate the huge contribution that volunteer fundraisers make, both in the NHS and across civil society, to snwure that fundraising is recognised in future government initiatives.

Megan Pacey, Director of Policy and Campaigns at the Institute of Fundraising, said: "For all those organisations that benefit from working with volunteer fundraisers, this is your last chance to feed into the Institute's consultation response.

"The current government consultation provides us with an opportunity to ensure volunteer fundraising is firmly on the volunteering agenda, and I would urge fundraisers to take full advantage of this."

The survey can be completed by 12 September 2008 at:
