ActionAid staff at this month's Institute of Fundraising National Convention in London took an innovative approach to getting the most out of the event.
They took over a board room at the venue for the duration of the three-day Convention and returned there after each session they attended to share lessons learned and ideas generated. These were written down on A3 pieces of paper and post-it-type notes stuck on the walls round the wall.
The aim was to gather and synthesise the information gathered with a view to sharing it with the wider fundraising department at ActionAid.
