The Recycling Factory raises £1 million for charities

2008.11.05 - My life story told by the cellphones I've owned

Ethical recycling solutions company The Recycling Factory has now raised £1 million for its UK charity partners since its launch in 2005.

The company encourages businesses and individuals to recycle their used inkjet cartridges and mobile phones to reduce the harmful landfill burden on the environment and, at the same time, collects money for a host of charities.

The Recycling Factory's charity partners include NSPCC, RSPCA and Action Medical Research and has recently added new partners, including CAFOD and Age Concern.

The company also works with retailers such as Tesco, Asda and Wilkinsons to raise money for their charities of choice.
