The Management Centre (=mc), the training and consultancy provider for not-for-profit organisations, is hosting the biannual National Arts Fundraising School from 18 to 23 April, and again from 7 to 12 November.

The school involves six days of training for fundraisers and development officers working in the arts. It features modules covering major appeals, corporate sponsorship vs corporate giving, legacies, The National Lottery, trusts and foundations, and local authority funded projects.

It covers fundraising strategy, proposal writing, presenting your pitch, promotional literature, tax breaks and incomes sources.

Speakers include UK Fundraising's Howard Lake on fundraising using social media.
