Nominations open for $1.5 million 2011 Hilton Humanitarian Prize

The world's largest humanitarian award is once again on offer. The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation is about to start seeking nominations for its 2011 Hilton Humanitarian Prize.

It is presented annually to an organisation anywhere in the world doing extraordinary work to alleviate human suffering.

Nominations open on 1 March and end on 30 April.
