Nominations open for payroll giving awards 2013

The Institute of Fundraising is inviting employers to enter this year's National Payroll Giving Excellence Awards to showcase their achievements in promoting this tax-effective method of giving.

The awards feature categories for employers, charities and professional partnerships who have been outstanding in promoting payroll giving in the work place. Any employer who has achieved a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Quality Mark Award in 2013 is eligible to enter.

The winners will be anounced at the Treasury on 3 December 2013, to be hosted by Nick Hurd MP, Minister for Civil Society and Sajid Javid MP, Economic Secretary to the Treasury.

The chair of the judging panel is Jane Banks, of the British Heart Foundation. She said: "This year, as well as celebrating the new and innovative schemes that have raised a record £124 million in 2012-13, we will also be paying tribute to those longstanding campaigns that have delivered year in, year out with a new award for Most Accomplished Sustained Scheme.”

The deadline for nominations for the National Payroll Giving Excellence Awards is 18 October.
