    Twenty two radio stations across the UK owned by Radio Investments are calling on local businesses to take part in 'Bring a £1 to Work Day' to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Relief on 19 June 2003.

    The stations have a combined listenership of 3 million people. They include Minster FM, Silk FM, Central FM, Arrow FM and Spire FM.

    Charity fundraising harder than five years ago, says report

    A report from JP Margan Fleming Asset Management today reports that 57% of charities are finding it more difficult to raise funds than they did five years ago.

    RSPB launches 550,000 member appeal on Cliffe airport protest

    Half a million members of RSPB will receive a special appeal next week urging them to join its high profile protest against the proposal for an airport at Cliffe in Kent that threatens to destroy important coastal wetland habitats.

    NCRI selects agency to redesign its Web site

    The National Cancer Research Institute has chosen Thoughtbubble to host and redesign its Web site.

    NCRI is the co-ordinating body for 15 cancer organisations in the UK, such as Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Macmillan Cancer Relief.

    The new site will launch in April 2003.

    BRG Direct helps hospice with short-notice Christmas campaign

    Direct marketing agency BRG Direct has helped East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) mount a Christmas appeal at very short notice.

    Autumn Design Consultants officially closed at 5.30pm on 18 February 2003.

    Originally founded by Karen Harvey in 1992
    the company won a number of awards for annual reports in the not-for-profit sector.
