Salesforce demonstration: free database management software for charities

Salesforce is an online database management system which is available FREE to charities.

It can be used to manage all your contact and supporter relationships and communications, financial transactions and processing and specific operational requirements, such as event management, Gift Aid or membership processing.

CAN Mezzanine Loman Street is holding a Salesforce demonstration - The event will include a:

demonstration from a Salesforce representative on its functionality;
case study on CAN. How it has been used in practice including linking to online web forms;
demonstration of the add on features available including linking to your accounts system.
CAN has recently adapted Salesforce to manage its customer relationship needs.
"CAN had a customer database, but we were unable to make design changes, track customer interaction, or run reports." said Reena Chadha, CAN Communication Manager. "Now we have a flexible system which we can adapt to our needs. All our records can be shared across the organisation and we can collect information directly to the database via online forms. The ability to run several detailed reports for each area of work is helping us with reviewing, planning and development in all areas of work.
