Dublin based stockbroker and corporate financier Merrion Captial has donated all commissions earned from its clients during business for one day to Action Breast Cancer. The initiative is to mark Pink Ribbon Day which aims to raise awareness and money.

Action Breast Cancer, a project of the Irish Cancer Society, is the leading provider of information and support for both diagnosed and undiagnosed women. The Action Breast Cancer, Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign will comprise a month-long TV, radio, press and outdoor advertising campaign which will be fronted by Victoria Smurfit. There will also be complementary activities including the distribution of breast awareness postcards through pubs and restaurants, bookmarks through book shops and press coverage.

Merrion chief executive John Conroy said the firm was delighted to support ABC.
