I am investigating the installation of both a relational fundraising
database and a ticketing system. Is anyone using a system or aware of one
that offers both applications?

As far as I know there is no off the shelf package that credibly combines
ticketing with marketing. Ticketing can me a complex set of business
requirements in its own right. Add this to fundraising and you have a recipe
for software nightmares.

However, arts-based non-profits have probably passed this way before, so I
suggest contacting a theatre trust, ditto museum. Probably someone is lurking
in this discussion list from the arts!

Good luck!

Can you tell us how many users you have on the system, and how many
records in the largest files?

Thanks and kind regards

I'm not sure how useful this will be but we used a consultant to develop a
bespoke Access based database for us. We've found it extremely good and
hugely cost-effective (relatively, we got the database for half the price
of the cheapest off the peg database).

The consultant has since then developed and tailored the package to meet
individual charity needs including dealing with sponsoring animals for a
zoo.
